About Serve In Love Africa Trust
S.I.L.A is an Abbreviation for Serve in Love Africa which is a Christian Charitable organization that is registered here in Kenya. This Organisation was established in 2009 out of a long time of travailing towards having a means of realizing holistic community transformation by way of empowerment.
The objective of S.I.L.A has been to work together with communities and other charitable organisations towards alleviating poverty and human suffering prevalent especially in hardship areas in this country and beyond.
This however is such an enormous work that can only be accomplished with the help of the almighty. The Lord Jesus is the ultimate provider and strength of S.I.L.A Trust. It is Him who is more concerned of our needs than any human and He always seeks to meet our needs according to his riches in glory. S.I.L.A endeavours to help every person to know where our help comes from.
Achievements
Feeding the hungry & clothing the naked!

Since inception two years ago, the organisation has engaged in charitable work in Kerio valley both in Keiyo and Baringo. This region does not receive sufficient rain to sustain any crop. Often times the residence suffer from acute shortage of food and water leading to loss of lives.
To identify with these people at such a time of need, S.I.L.A distributed food, clothing and multivitamin to communities and schools in Kerio valley for the last two years.
As a long term strategy S.I.L.A also had a seeding program that enabled many people to establish farms in 2010. The Lord of heaven showered the Land with much rain that was sufficient to mature the crops and the people realized such a bumper harvest never experienced after several years.
School enrolment in this region has also gone up dramatically and the health state of many children has greatly improved since S.I.L.A responded to their needs. A remarkable improvement in performance was also noted in schools where feeding programs were initiated with the help of donations through S.I.L.A
S.I.L.A has acquired a rig Machine through the donations by LAM in South Korea. This has helped to drill bore holes that have significantly improved the lives of many. Among the beneficiaries of this water initiative is Dominion Children’s Home which initially had to be supplied water at least twice a week by a lorry thus straining the meagre resources of the home.
The children home can now grow their own vegetables and keep their animals throughout the year. This has helped a great deal to lower the cost of running the home besides having sufficient amounts of water for other domestic uses. The neighbours of this home have also benefitted a great deal as a result of this water. We plan to drill at least ten bore holes in Kerio valley on Charity basis before the close of the year.
Establishment of Eldoret Educational Resource centre last year has seen the lives of many children experience a turn a round. This is a place where children are offered quality education at a very affordable cost. Currently the school runs from pre-primary to primary six with a pupil population of 170 children at the moment.
